Bob Strickland - Healthcare Industry Specialist

Bob Strickland provides advisory support to Blue Magnet Partners. He helps evaluate opportunities in the healthcare transaction processing industry and provides strategic direction within his specialties for Blue Magnet Portfolio Companies. His area of focus is business development, sales infrastructure development, strategic partnerships and merger/acquisition opportunities in the healthcare industry.

Bob currently leads the sales and marketing outreach to physician practices nationwide for Gateway EDI. Prior to joining Gateway, Bob was president of a consulting practice where he specialized in sales practices and measurements of the healthcare transaction processing industry. He has performed key leadership roles at a number of nationally recognized information technology companies. Some of these positions include president of provider services at Medunite (now ProxyMed), general manager of NDCHealth Physicians Services, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Envoy Corporation (now Emdeon) and co-founder of Nova Information Systems.

Bob received his B.A. in political science and has completed his coursework for his M.P.A. in organizational development from C.W. Post College of Long Island University in New York.
