Ivan Quant - Nicaragua-In Country Representative

Ivan is Blue Magnet Partners representative in Nicaragua. His understanding of the business environment throughout the country and his network of relationships are a strong foundation for sourcing opportunities for Blue Magnet.

Ivan is the Operation Manager of ERQ LLC and is responsible for directing investment activity in Nicaragua. ERQ LLC owns eight restaurants in Managua, Nicaragua. He is responsible for the identification, evaluation, and consummation of all new investments, acquisitions and joint ventures in the country. In addition, Ivan directs all aspects of operations, policies, and initiatives for ERQ LLC.

Before joining ERQ LLC, Ivan spent 2 years with Caterpillar Nicaragua, the largest heavy machinery and construction equipment Company of Nicaragua. He served in a key account sales management role and his responsibilities included developing relationships and promoting company products to small and large contractors, architects, engineers, and small businesses.

Ivan is a past Key Account Manager of British American Tobacco, the leading Cigarette Company in Central America and Nicaragua. His specific focus was to develop relationships with key trade customers. These customers were essential to the organization's strategy to communicate with the end consumer thru promotional activities such as concerts, game events, and brand presence.

During an insightful two-year experience in the construction industry, Ivan decided to pursue more pioneering opportunities in the emerging real estate markets of Nicaragua. He founded a company called Quant Developments S.A. to acquire prime real estate in Nicaragua. Quant Developments S.A. currently has ownerships interests and operates 18 apartments in Villa Fontana, a high growth area in Managua. Also, Quant Developments has acquired 20 acres in the proximity of Masaya Volcano National Park to be developed in the future.

Ivan holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University in Atlanta, Georgia and is an active member of the International SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise) Organization.
